Maoist guerrilla arrested in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Sep 18 (IANS) A Maoist guerrilla was arrested here in Jharkhand on Friday, police said.

Jitendra Mahto, who belongs to the banned Maoist outfit Peoples Liberation Front of India (PLFI), was arrested from Ranchi’s Hatia locality. He was living in disguise.

One pistol and live cartridges were recovered from his possession.

He is second Maoist guerrillas arrested in Ranchi this month. Earlier, another PLFI Maoist guerrilla was arrested from a hospital.
