Mangaluru: MLC Ivan D’Souza inaugurated the ‘Cotton, Silk and Craft Expo – 2016’ by cutting the ribbon at Hotel Woodlands here, on May 6.

He further said, “You will find art from all over India under one roof. I urge all citizens to purchase these items and make the craftsmen happy so that they will come back to Mangaluru again.”
The organizer of the Expo, Mahaveer said that craftsmen from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka had arrived. “They have brought paintings, imitation jewelry, handicrafts, handlooms and a lot more.”
