Modi meets California governor, founder of Khan Academy

San Jose, Sep 28 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met with California Governor Edmund Brown and later with Salman Khan, the founder of Khan Academy, a non-profit educational organization.

“Deepening ties with California, this time on the official side: Governor Edmund Brown Jr. calls on PM,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

“An educator with a difference. Salman Khan, founder of @khanacademy calls on PM @narendramodi,” he posted.

Khan Academy is a free online educational platform that produces videos on diverse subjects for students.
