Modi meets Naga delegation

New Delhi, June 12 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met a delegation of Naga Hoho — the apex body of various Naga tribes — over various development issues in the northeast region, said an official statement.

The six-member delegation from the Naga organisation was led by its president Chuba Ozukum.

“The members appreciated the prime minister’s vision of development of the northeast. They emphasised their commitment to peace in the entire northeastern region,” said the statement.
