Moodbdri: BJP Leader Jagadish Adhikari Gets Threat from Caller Based Abroad

Moodbidri: A complaint has been filed at the town police station, stating that an unidentified caller from abroad has given a threat to DK district BJP vice president K P Jagadish Adhikari.

The caller allegedly called him on Thursday night. It was an Internet call and he spoke in Tulu, saying that he was one among 11 targeted persons.

In the backdrop of Prashant murder on Oct 9, taluk convener of Bajrang Dal, Somanath Kotian and eyewitness in Prashant murder, Vaman Poojary, who committed suicide, also had received similar threats.

Police sources said that it would be a mighty task to trace the caller since it emanated from abroad. At the same time, there is a feeling around that it could be an attempt to divert the issue.
