Mulki: ASI Rama Naik Severely Injured in Bike-lorry Collision near Bappanad Temple

Mulki: Assistant sub-inspector of police at the local station, Rama Naik, was severely injured in a road mishap on Tuesday morning while on his way to duty.

Riding his bike he was crossing the road in front of the Bappanad temple. A lorry plying in the opposite direction is said to have collided with his bike and he was thrown to the road.

He sustained severe injuries in the head and legs. After primary treatment at a local hospital, he was shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

A case has been registered in the Mulki police station.
