Mulki: Autorickshaw Collides with Bike – Rider Dies of Severe Head Injuries

Mulki: A bike and a bike collided at the Amritanandamayi Nagar cross near Karnad on Sunday, resulting in the death of the bike-rider. The mishap took place on the Karnad-Kinnigoli state highway.

Shankaralinga (24), hailing from Bagalur in Vijayapura district and studying in I PU class in the Government College in Mulki, was riding from his home towards Mulki.

An autorickshaw ahead of him was suddenly turned towards Amritanandamayi Nagar by its driver without giving any signal or flashing the indicator.

A collision took place and Shankaralinga was thrown to the road. He received critical injuries and died soon thereafter.

The traffic police at Suratkal have registered a case.
