Mumbai: Kulala Sangha to Hold Dance Festival on September 13

Mumbai: The 86 year old Kulala Sangha is now in the final stage to celebrate the 2nd year Kulala Dance Festival to be held on 13 September at 2 pm at the Viveshwarayya Sabhagrah, Matunga West.
In a press meet held on 6th September, Kulala Sangha’s Mumbai President Girish Salian, Secretary D I Moolya, Treasurer Jaya S Anchan and Chairman of Socio-Economic Committee Umesh M Bangera were present.

They explained about the aim of conducting such events and said that this type of dance festival will help us to identify the talents of the youth in our community. “This festival is being conducted on international level for which we have invited entries from from India and abroad. So far we have received sufficient number of entries.”

He further said that there are group dance competitions like Classical, Folk dance, Western and Bollywood for certain age groups with suitable prizes and awards. There will be a special dance performance by Amita Jatin and Team, Geeta Salian and Team and Kshama Bangera and Team who were also present during the press meet.

Journalist B Dinesh Kulal briefed about the programme and delivered the vote of thanks.
