Nada Panchayat President Jayanti (44) Dies of Cardiac Arrest
Beltangady: Jayanti (44), wife of Kittu Nalke of Kundattarakodi in Nada and president of Nada gram panchayat in the taluk, passed away at home on May 11. Cardiac arrest is said to be the cause of death.
She had been elected to the panchayat with BJP’s support for the second term. Under reservation for the scheduled castes, she had been elected president a year ago.
She is survived by husband, a son and a daughter.
