Narrow escape for passengers as roadside tree falls on moving bus at Gangolli

Kundapur: A massive tree fell on a parked truck and a moving bus on the Gangolli main road, near Tawheed School on Wednesday, September 28.

Fortunately, none of the 40 passengers on the bus and those on other vehicles were injured.

There were 40 passengers on the bus, most of them students and office going people. The passengers on the bus were lucky as the parked lorry on the side of the road took the full impact of the tree.

Traffic on the busy junction came to a halt until the tree was removed with the help of locals.
