Nayanthara dubs for the first time in ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’

Chennai, Oct 10 (IANS) It took leading southern actress Nayanthara a decade to finally dub in her own voice for upcoming Tamil film “Naanum Rowdydhaan”, in which she plays a hearing impaired character.

Her fans got a glimpse of her mouthing Tamil lines in her own voice in the film’s teaser that was unveiled on Friday.

According to a source from the film’s unit, it was at the behest of director Vignesh Shivan, whom Nayanthara is rumoured to be dating, she agreed to dub in her voice.

“Nayanthara was never interested to dub in her voice, but she eventually agreed for the sake of her close friend and director Vignesh,” a source told IANS.

Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, the film is produced by actor Dhanush and is gearing up for release soon.
