New Academic Year Vivekananda Coaching Centre Inauguration and Distribution of Study Materials

Mangaluru: Ramakrishna Mission is running Vivekananda Coaching classes, free tuition class from 5th to 10th std in its premises for the last 12 years. The deserving students are given free tuitions along with value-based education, evening tea and tiffin. About 150 students are daily benefitted by this activity. They are also provided at the beginning of the academic year, study materials like school bags, uniforms, notebooks, umbrellas etc.

The current academic year was inaugurated in a solemn function held at Ashram auditorium by the Mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation, Harinath on Sunday, 29th May 2016. He also lauded the efforts of Ramakrishna Mission, for its contribution to the social well- being.

K S Upadhyaya and Mandakini Upadhyaya of Vikas Seva Pratishthan who sponsored the notebooks distributed the study materials among 225 deserving students. Vijayalakshmi introduced the activities of the Ashram. Swami Jitakamanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission delivered the benedictory address and Santosh Alva compered the programme.
