Mangalore: Fr Thomas Aquinas (Hubert ) D’Souza OFM Cap (92) passed away on Sunday, Dec 4, 2011.

Born in  Kallianpur Udupi, Mangalore on January 30, 1920, he after completing his education, joined the Capuchin Order and was ordained on March 25, 1947.

He served in Fatima School, Vidyavihar, Mumbai, St Antony’s School in Mapusa, Goa and Vivekananda High School, Jayanagar, Bangalore for about 3 decades.

He also served as administrator at Deena Seva Ashram in Bangalore and as manager of the Diocesan Press, Mysore.

He spent his retired life in St Ann’s Friary, Jail Road, Mangalore.

Funeral service will be held in St Fidelis Friary, Frangipet on December 6 at 3-30 p.m.
