Beltangady: Nemiraja Ajri, of Hosamane Perman near Nada in the taluk, was an employee of the Taluk Agricultural Produce Cooperative Marketing Society (TAPCOMS) and had been suspended in 1977.

He went to labour court against his suspension and consistently fighting took the case to the state high court.

After long 35 years of legal fight, now the high court has ruled in his favour. In accordance with the directive, Ajri will be entitled to receiving salary and other allowances from 1977.
