Udupi: Free Medical Camp Held for Police Staff at Adarsh Hospital

Udupi: A free medical camp, which was jointly organized by the Udupi district police and Adarsh hospital in the hospital's auditorium here on Sunday, June 17.

Inaugurating the camp, superintendent of police Dr M B Boralingaiah said, " The police staff is always highly stung on duty and off it. The stress may be professional or even personal.  To offer best service of theirs, they need to maintain good health.  Want of time or maybe lack of infrastructure might be a hindrance for them to avail themselves of good medical facility.  It's always better to make use of medical treatment before sickness hits."

Udupi DySP Dr Prabhudev Mane, Dr G S Chandrashekar of Adarsh Hospital,  Neurologist Dr A Raja, Ortho and knee-joint specialist Dr Mohandas Shetty and Paediatrician Dr Ashok Kumar were on the dias.

During the camp, blood test, sugar test, blood grouping, ECG, test for fat for obesity, heart scanning and stress-related tests were held for the police ancillary staff.
