Udupi: BJP to Stage Protest against Union Government on June 22

The BJP district unit will stage a protest and 'Jail Bharo' programme against the policies of the Union government at the district centre and all the taluk centres on June 22, said Uday Kumar Shetty, BJP district president

Addressing mediapersons in Hotel Kediyoor here, he said that the UPA government had also hiked prices of fuel and basic commodities. On June 22, the party workers will stage protests at all the taluk centres  in the district, by blocking roads and thus promoting the ‘Jail Bharo’ campaign.
 
On June 22 morning, party workers will stage protest by blocking roads in taluk headquarters like Udupi taluk office, Kaup bus-stand, Karkala bus-stand, Shastri circle, Kundapur and Hemmady bus-stand near Byndoor, he said .
