Team Mangalorean Udupi

Udupi: Brahmavar Bantara alias Nadavara Sangha and Bantara Sangha, Bangalore, supported by the sponsorship of the Srinivas Alva Memorial Trust, jointly organized a function on Saturday, June 23, for distribution of annual scholarships to students of Kota region and sewing machines to deserving candidates.
 
H Vittal Shetty, member of  Brahmavar Bantara Sangha, presiding over the function, said, "The club offers money collected from donors. This is being done to encourage the students. You have to remember the assistance advanced to you by the donors and become useful to the society."

Financial assistance was handed over to 13 women and 150 students of the economically deprived sections. Sudarshan Hegde, Bhojaraj Shetty, Shekar Shetty, Ganesh Shetty, Raviraj Shetty and Udaya Kumar Shetty of the Bantara Sangha parent unit were present on the occasion.
 
K Suresh Hegde, convener of Bantara Sangha Bangalore was the chief guest.  M Muralidhar Hegde, president, social service wing, was present.

B Bhujanga Shetty, vice president of Brahmavar Bantara Sangha  welcomed the guests, Ashok Kumar Shetty compered the programme, Airody Ratnakar Shetty proposed a vote of thanks.
