Udupi :
"Students need to develop a sense of Nationalism, giving away feelings of inadequacy or inferiority", said Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala. He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of 'Madhava Nilaya' Silver Jubilee Hall of Sharada Residential School in Kunjibettu.

"Kuvempu wanted to be a Vishwa Manava (a Universal Man). To be a Universal Man you have to shed bondage, smallness.  Now the world has become small, earlier there were not much opportunities, now opportunities are plenty", he said. Further he said ," make use of the opportunities. Today you can go to any nation and pursue your studies.  You can be successful, if you excel in any field.  You must have such aspirations. You must grow to be good human beings. Merely becoming doctors, engineers is not the limit ; you could make use of opportunities in any field, you could become teachers too.  You should not forget this".
