Chikmagalur: In the middle of the mounting crisis in the BJP in the state, its state secretary and spokesperson C T Ravi has demanded immediate dissolution of the assembly.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that fresh elections were the only solution to the present confusion in the government. "Let the assembly be dissolved. Let us go for fresh polls, so that people will get chance to decide."
"There seems to be no other way out than dissolution to get out of the present crisis in the party and the government," he said.
He added that he always stood for party loyalty than personal and declared that he would abide by any decisions taken by the parliamentary board decisions, including the one on not changing the chief minister.
He further said that he had joined and had worked for it along only on the basis on ideology and principles. "I have let down the people of my constituency and would not do so in future even. The tussle between the party leaders could be solved only by dissolution of the assembly, he reiterated.
