Brahmavar:
There was a time when our ancestors went on pilgrimage on pada yathra.  Now a times being modern, people resort to vehicles for carrying them to pilgrimage centers

Rama Kshatriya Sangha & Kundapur Rama Kshatriya Sangha sastan jointly for the past 2 years (during the month of August)  have visited Thirupathi in  Andhra Pradesha through pada yathra and had darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy and returned, with an intention that the youngsters should never get to forget things that easily as to how their elders used to do.

Towards the last leg of the Pada Yatra, on Monday at 7.00 AM,  in the leadership of  P. Laxminarayana Rao and Sridhar P, 21 enthusiastic youths have gone on a pilgrimage on foot for 17 days.

They have to walk through Udupi, Karkala, Dharmasthala, Sakaleshpur, Hassan, Chennarayapattana, Chinthamani Marg and finally reach their ultimate destination for Lord Thirumala Darshan.
