Mangalore: A curious case of a security guard at an eatery at the Kadri junction sent to bring change in smaller denominations of currency next having decided to have a 'change' of job and place of stay and vanished with the money has been reported here.

On June 29, the manager of the KFC outlet had the sent the security guard, Sunil Kanwade (34), hailing from Savadatti of Belgaum district, with Rs 8,000 in large denominations to the fuel filling station nearby. He has not returned ever since. Nor are his whereabouts known.

Upon enquiry, it has been found that he did not come to his accommodation at Kodikal even. Security agency manager Nagesh has filed a complaint at the Kadri police station over his disappearance.
