Mangalore: Speaking to mediapersons in the city on Saturday, July 7, Shri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Math said that he was not going to react to the move to change D V Sadananda Gowda as chief minister, stating that it was an internal matter of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Gowda is known to seek guidance from the Swamiji regularly in various matters, most frequently in recent times on the environmental pollution caused by the Lanco power generation plant of UPCL.

Asked about the SEZ-acquired land not being given back to the owners even after it was denotified, he said he would discuss the matter with the chairman of the Organic Agricultural Mission about it.

Regarding the global recognition for the western ghats, he said he would give his reaction after studying the matter.

"Whats the necessity of poking his nose in politics??!!" - Anil DG

Dear Anil,
Can't you read ? He clearly said he was not going to react as it was an internal matter. Where did he 'poke his nose'? Was it in your dream?

Compare this to other 'matthaadheeshas' from other places who are actively involved in the on-going drama to replace DVS.

Swami should perform pooja or spiritual business and not political business. Help the needy, poor, and refrain from politics.

"Now Yediyurappa has his man at the helm who will dance according to his tune"
It may not be true. Mr. Shettar and Yeddy were bitter opponents a few months back , but came together to fight a so called common enemy in DVS!. Now that Shettar's achieved his goal it will be interesting to watch his future actions visa vis listening to Yeddy's dictat.
