Udupi: The new office bearers of Rotary club Malpe, Kodavoor for the year 2012-13 took charge of their respective posts in a solemn installation ceremony on Sunday July 8, in the Vasantha Mantapa of Shankarnarayana temple.

Former Assistant Governor Rotarian P H F Edwin Joseph Alva installed the new president M Mahesh Kumar, and Poornima Janardhan as Secretary for the year 2012-13 . Rotarian Joseph appealed to the public to join the Rotary Clubs in their areas.

Zone II Assistant Governor Ashok Kumar Shetty released Club bulletin, ' Waves 'and wished the Club all success.

Dr. Sathyashankar who  worked at Malpe Public Health Center were felicitated on this occasion. Those students who had performed extremely well in the SSLC and PUC examinations were felicitated.

Former Assistant Governor Jai vital, zonal lieutenant Alaen Lewis were present on the occasion. After the installation ceremony new president Mahesh Kumar introduced the officer Bearers to the audience.

Bhavana Kodavoor performed a prayer dance and  outgoing president Suresh B Karkera welcomed the gathering. Secretary Poornima Janardhan proposed the vote of thanks. Ramesh K compeered the programme
