Beltangady: The police here have received a complaint of a case in which a pilgrim visiting Dharmasthala was looted of his three mobile phones, Rs 8,000 in cash, a bag and other articles.

It was an act of a group comprising four members. A case has been registered in this connection.

Recently, the district police had nabbed a gang going around in expensive cars stolen by them and robbing visitors and pedestrians. Since this incident resembled their style of operation, the police are on the trail of a similar gang.

It's yesterday once more!
