Mangalore: Siddiq, a bus driver on route 51 from the city to Konaje, had not only driven on the wrong side of the road but also led to the death of two occupants of the car which the bus collided with on Saturday, July 7.

Besides fleeing the scene immediately, he also absconded for two days. Apparently by arrangement with the owner, he was arrested by the rural police.

He came out on bail immediately without any problem. The public have expressed shock at the way culprits literally get away with murder.
