Mangalore: To save and develop trees, the residents of 6 cross, Attavar, Mangalore, 55 ward, Mangalore joined hands together with one and only intention to make their ward evergreen areas. Saplings were planted on the by lane of 6 Cross Road, Attavar.

The residents made a resolution that there should be efforts to have saplings planted on both sides of the road, since the road is now broadened.

The local residents of  6 cross road of  Attavar, who participated in the Tree Planting  Program, on account of  Vanamahostava on 8 July 2012 are K.P.Shetty Bedarmar, Devadas Shetty, Pundalik Suvarna, Bhasker Kiran, Dinesh, Giris, Manoj, Advocate Raghavendra Rao, Ravindra, Ganesh, Rajesh Attavar, Nagesh Poojary and other local residents.
