• Dr.Narayan Hulse, Dr.Prakash B L, Dr.Jayateerth W Kulkarni and Dr.Venugopal N joins Fortis Hospitals

Bangalore: Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore has appointed 4 new Surgeons to its renowned Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic team. Dr. Narayan Hulse and Dr. Prakash B L are based in Bannerghatta, Fortis Hospitals; Dr. Jayateerth Kulkarni is based in Cunningham road, Fortis Hospitals and Dr. Venugopal in Seshadripuram, Fortis Hospitals. These doctors along with Dr. J V Srinivas, Dr. Alwin Almeida and Dr. Anand Chavan would ensure complete coverage of Orthopaedic services at the Fortis Hospitals.
 
The new team of Surgeons comes with the vast surgical experience covering entire spectrum of Orthopaedics from their clinical work and training in well known hospitals across the world.
 
Dr. Narayan Hulse, Consultant, Joint Replacement Surgeon, MS, DNB, MRCS, MCh (Liv) UK, FRCS (Trauma and Ortho) UK brings to Fortis a decade and half of experience in orthopaedics and Joint Replacements. He has trained and operated extensively at leading orthopaedic institutions in UK for 8 years and also completed a US board accredited fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery.
 
Dr.Prakash B L, Consultant, Joint Replacement Surgeon, MS, DNB, FAO(USA) has over 20 years of experience in total joint replacement surgeries with extensive trainings with renowned institutions in UK and US. He specialises in complex and revision joint replacement surgeries and pelvic acetabular reconstructions.
 
Dr. Jayateerth W Kulkarni, MS, DNB, FRCS (Trauma and Ortho) joins Fortis with over two decades of experience in joint replacement surgeries and revision surgeries of Hip, Knee, Shoulder and Elbow. He was trained at the renowned Guy’s and St.Thomas Hospitals, London and also did his fellowship in trauma and joint reconstruction in Canada. He is also an expert in performing Arthroscopy of knee, shoulder and other joints.
 
Dr.Venugopal N, MS (Ortho), joins the Fortis team with an experience of more than a decade in joints and complex orthopaedic surgeries. He was trained at PGI, Chandigarh and specialises in limb and spine deformities.
