Mangalore: Highly dismembered mortal remains of a youngster were found on Panambur beach on Tuesday. Since they appeared to be of a foreigner, it is believed that they belong to the Polish student who drowned at Thottam beach on July 5.

The remains have been taken and preserved in Wenlock hospital here, pending formalities and identification.

Milosz Lachowski (22), a student from Poland on visit to Manipal on an exchange programme, had drowned when he had gone for swimming at Thottam beach along with four other friends, Marana Maazam from Tunisia, Kinga Bar from Poland, Marcin Dlubis from Poland and Prasanna from Tamil Nadu.
