Mangalore: Sri Krishna Yaksha Sabha, Mallikatta, for the eleventh consecutive year is once again all set to organize a seven-day Yakshagana extravaganza for the Yakshagana lovers starting this Saturday July 14 till July 20, 2012. The 7-day event will be held at Town Hall, Mangalore, with daily performances from 5pm to 9.30pm.

Tenku Thittu school of Yakshagana, Badagu Thittu and Bada Badagu Thittu Schools of Yakshagana will share the performances schedule during that week. Choodamani Lanka Dahana show featuring senior artiste and State Rajyotsava Award winner Surikumeru Govinda Bhat who will act as " Hanumantha", and the role of " Ravana" will be acted by Shivarama Jogi and Ganadhiraja Tantri. Balipa Narayana and Balipa Prasada on the " Bhagawathike" (means singing) will also take place on this show.
On July 15, there will be twelve hours of continuous various Yakshagana shows.
