Bantwal: The tahsildar here has issued a notification saying that those holding firearms but not having renewed their licences should do so immediately.

He has pointed out that possession of firearms with expired licence or without a valid licence would be regarded as unauthorized. In such cases, the firearms would be seized and criminal action would be taken against those who possess them.
