Kundapur: Shyamala Bhandary, KPCC Secretary condemned the attack on young girls participating in a Birthday party that took place on July 28 at a private resort in Mangalore.

Speaking with mangalorean.com correspondent Shaymala Bhandary said that " Stripping girls and assaulting them sexually downgrades their modesty at a public place, this affects their image so badly that they cannot move freely later. The criminals come out free later due to the lacunae in the law and such instances have been repeating time and again.

What is the fate of women these days ? Those defending such  moves should be expelled from the country.  Stringent measures must be taken against the miscreants. I would be leaving for Delhi instantly and request Sonia Gandhi to formulate legal measures for defending women" she said.
