Udupi: If the self sponsored Rave Party in Malpe is in full memory in front of them and the HJV outfit cannot react, then they have no right to assault students celebrating their birthday at a Private Resort in Padil.  If they could keep quiet throughout the two day merry making of girls in obscene fashion, consuming narcotics in Malpe party, how did they assault youths in Mangalore in a Private Function of theirs, questioned Devi Prasad Shetty, JDS Udupi District President.

He was speaking with media persons here at press club on Monday July 30, 2012,  if anything immoral was happening then there is Police, there is law and government how can these associations or outfits take to frivolous moral policing upon themselves. Assaulting students for no reason, when the clippings of the incident were viewed it looked as though HJV workers were trying to molest girls, this is inexcusable, he said.  He said the students need to fight against these organizations and bring justice to the innocent boys and girls,he insisted.
 
Posing to be guardians of Hinduism, it is these people who collect fees from those supplying cattle meat illegally, it is these people who extract money (hafta) from pub owners.  It is these people who encourage Pub, hookah bars to run in places like Manipal day in and out.  How can they justify themselves when they don't have the conscience, he questioned.

Whatever that they did in Mangalore is BJPs hidden agenda to safeguard their losing grip over people, these are well schemed acts of BJP aimed at spoiling communal harmony and peace in the Coastal region, he charged and appealed for the Central agencies to keep a tab on their nefarious activities.

Why are they quiet over Halappa episode and sex scandal, Renukacharya Nurse episode, Blue Film episode. Coming down heavily upon BJP and HJV, he insisted that concerned persons who were involved in that attacks should immediately be arrested and sent to jail.  If not JDS Party Workers will hold massive protests against all these anti-social elements, he threatened.
