Manipal: Orna Sagiv, Consulate General of Israel in Mumbai visited Manipal University and its institutions on August 1, 2012.

She visited the various sections  like Experience Theatre, Health Science Library, the Sports Complex Marina, etc.  She had fruitful discussions with Officers of Manipal Institute of Technology, Dept.of Geopolitics & International Relations, Centre for Philosophy and Humanities.

At the conclusion of her visit, she had a final round of interaction with Pro Chancellor Dr.H.S.Ballal, Vice-Chancellor Dr.K.Ramnarayan ,and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr.H.Vinod Bhat.

Topics like possible collaboration between Manipal University and Israeli Universities in the fields of technology, humanities, geopolitics and international relations were discussed.  She expressed great appreciation at the developments in the fields of education and health care in the Manipal campus.
