Belthangady: Its not only listening to the message, nodding the head that you will follow the message, but how deeply you insist the message into practice is extremely important. said Dr.B.Yshoverma Secretary S.D.M Society, who initiated the Eco-Club inauguration of S.D.M. P.U.College, by planting the sapling.

He further said, we all have only one earth. If we do not persist ourselves with the go, to save the mother earth, aday will come which we will witness the null population of living creatures including mankind. He also gave some simple plans to children on how to save the resources which further help in holding the earth in the safe hands.

Earlier in the venue Dr.Pushpendra H.O.D Botany Dept, inaugurated the programme by handing over a designed globe to the Eco-Club members. He while addressing the gathering said, keep your self clean, and keep your next door clean. And he wished the students all the best for their eco-club’s academic activity.

The Eco-Club report was delivered by Sameela Sabasteen. And oath was given to the students by Sunil.P.J,  Lecturer P.U.College. Also the first wall magazine termed ' ECO-ECHO 'was released by Dr.Pushpendra. Dr.B.Ganesh Nayak Principal P.U.College and lecturers of the college were present during the occasion.
