Beltangady: The body of Shashikumar (37) from Bangalore who was feared to have drowned in the Netravati bathing ghat near Dharmasthala on Thursday was found on Friday, August 3.

He had in fact tried to save Aravind who had come with him from drowning but himself died. Aravind was saved by passers-by.

A case has been registered in the police station here.
