Mangalore: Pandeshwar police inspector Tilakchandra and his team have arrested two more suspects in conncection with assault with intent to murder on Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy president Rahim Uchil in his official chamber at Attavar a few months ago.

On Saturday, the police picked up Abdul Basheer (27) of Iddya in Suratkal and Hameed aka Saddam (20) of J M Road in Kodikkal.

With these arrests, the number of persons nabbed so far has risen to five.
