Beltangady: Man from Andhra Trying to Sell Stolen Gold Arrested

Beltangady: Subrahmanya (35), hailing from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, was arrested by the police here in a jewellery shop here.

He is said to have tried to sell off gold ornaments, the source of which he could not confirm. He had four sovereign gold in his possession, which, by his looks, were obviously obtained by theft.

The ornaments were seized from him and he was arrested and produced in court. He was remanded to judicial custody.
