Mangalore: Nine occupants of a Tata Sumo vehicle were injured when it rammed into a stationary lorry near the Swati auto fuel filling station at Bykampady early Sunday, August 12 morning.

A family from Maroli was on its way in the Tata Sumo car to the Kollur temple on a pilgrimage visit. Ananya, Sumitra, Likhin, Aditya, Prabhavati, Manjula, Malati and Arun are among the injured.

They have been admitted to a private hospital in the city.
