Karkala: A bus plying from Bailoor to the taluk centre went out of the driver's control and rammed into a tree at a turn near Pilichavundi daivasthana in Kukkundur around 11-30 am on Monday, August 13.

Vijay Poojari, his mother and a few other passengers were injured. The front part of the bus was completely shattered.

The town police have registered a case.
