Kasargod: Teen Couple Commits Suicide, 'Cause Parents Opposed Their Relationship

Kasargod: A teen boy and a teen girl committed suicide, in Kasargod on Monday, August 13, 2012. According to police reports, the deceased have been identified as Srijith(20), son of Krishnan from Padinarmoole, and Jisha (17), a PUC student and the gaughter of Kunhikannan frm Chulali Latthur.

The duo were having an relationship, and both their parents were against their relationship. This led to the decision of both, boy and girl to commit suicide. A case has been registered.

This type of news is really shocking to hear. Every now and then how many teens are committing suicide. All have the freedom to choose their life partner in a secular democratic society like ours. Why should parents put restrictions if some one is in life and want to marry? It is they who are going to live and not the parents. It is really sad. All the parents should understand this. SO sad to here this.
