Mangalore: MLA from Ullal U T Khader had expressed concern over the negligence shown by the state government in tracking down those who spread rumours and caused the recent exodus of people of northeastern origin who lived in the state.

He had demanded the government go into the origin of such scare and the persons behind it. He has also said that the government should do everything effective to instill trust and confidence in the students from the northeastern states.
