Mangalore: MCC Drive against Unauthorized Posters on Walls

Mangalore: The city corporation has launched a drive against those sticking posters and wallpapers at public places, compound walls, electric poles, bus stands and stops in violation of rules and to take action against them.

As directed by MCC commissioner Dr K Harish Kumar, assistant revenue officer Pravinchandra Karkera, revenue inspector Shekhar and team went around on Friday and found a large number of posters displayed by a computer institute at various places.

A complaint has been filed against the institute for ruining the aesthetic look of the city. Officials said that the drive would continue to identify other violators and take action against them.

Good Job. Mangalore should be clean. Nowadays some people(AD agency_ have started putting Metal ads of Karnataka Bank with "No parking here" on compound gates without asking permission of the owners.When stopped they Glare at us with a wicked look. MCC please do something.
