Mangalore: Vishwambhar (45) aka 'Balekai Vishwambhar', a wholesale banana dealer at the central market here and a resident of Boloor, was found murdered at home on Monday morning.

Vishwambhar and his brother Ratan aka 'Market' Rattu lived together at Boloor. Vishwambhar had a criminal past and for this reason his wife had left him. Ratan's wife had gone to her parental home earlier on the day.

The blood brothers are said to have been highly inebriated and some altercation took place between them. Ratan was suspected to have committed the crime, since he had been missing since the same night. Ratan's wife, when she returned home in the night, found him dead at home and the police were informed.

On suspicion, the police went on a search for Ratan and arrested him on Monday night.
