| Oman: Bollywood Stars glitter in Sohar |

Sohar (Oman), April 9, 2009: The Sohar Plaza which is a Jawad Sultan group opened its new Multiplex cinema in Sohar on 9th April 2009. A number of bollywood stars descended on the city, making it an occasion to remember for all film lovers residing in and around Sohar, Oman.
Popular Mangalorean Bollywood star Suneil Shetty, accompanied by his lovely wife Manna added a special flavour to the evening. Another Bollywood Mangalorean Sneha Ullal who has spent her schooling years in Oman was also present along with Preeti Jhangiani and Pravin Dabbas.
H.I. Hamad Bin Khamis Al Aamri - Undersecretary of Manpower for Technical Education and Vocal Training, along with Jawad Abdul Redha Sultan - Chairman of Jawad Sultan Group of Companies inaugurated the Cine Complex.
Soon after the inaugural there was a premier screening of Fast and Furious for all the welcomed guests.
Sohar Plaza is a unique complex which has 4 multiplex theaters with a total seating capacity of 840 seats. The Main Theater has a seating capacity of 240 seats.
Various food courts are also available like Baskin Robbins, Penguin, Khana Khazana, Silk Route, Barista and Dunkin Donuts. It also has Capital store which is marketing some popular world class brands like Clarins, Dior and Guerlain.
The Multiplex will be opened for public viewing from 10th April onwards.

I heard that the opening of four food court in Sohar Plaza on 30.04.2009 or 01.05.2009 which consisting the following:
01. Banana Leaves Dosa Corner for vegeterian foods especially for varieries of dosa, iddly, uthappam, pan cake, appam and the like.
02. Silver Fork Continental Foods meant for all kind of continental foods and pastas (you can enjoy the sizzling sizzlers).
03. Silver Meal Arabian Foods for all kind of arabic foods including shawarma, club sandwitches and juices.
04. A Iranian Food Corner which is still to be named for iranian foods. |
