Kuwait April 27, 2009: Trishna 3, the third in the yearly quizzing extravaganza organized by National Institute of Technology, Calicut Alumni Association, Kuwait Chapter (NITCAA) for the Kuwait Engineers Forum (KEF) fraternity was unveiled recently at the Cambridge English School Auditorium, Mangaf. Teams from the eight constituent alumni associations of KEF - CET, KEA, MACE, NIT, NSSCE, OECK, TEC and TKMCE participated in the highly competitive Juniors, Seniors and the Family Trio rounds this year.
President of NITCAA, Wing Commander N Nandakumar welcomed the guests, dignitaries, participants and the Quiz Master. The function was presided over by the KEF GC Designate, Mr. Varkey Monsey Kuruvilla, Mr. Kripakar Swaminath, Convener- Trishna 3, Mr. Anandakannan, General Secretary - NITCAA and Mr. Ochintya Sharma.



The much accomplished quizzer and Quiz Master Mr. Ochintya Sharma, President of Karnataka Quiz Association (KQA) kept the participants and the audience enthralled by his twisted yet thrilling questions. His energy and enthusiasm persisted all through the six hours of quizzing and left the spectators yearning for more.
The winners of the first three positions in the different categories are:
Juniors 1. KEA represented by Dilip Menon & Shreyas L. Nair 2. TEC represented by Shanthi Roy Mathew & Vijay Krishnan 3. CET represented by Kabir Das & Merin Jose
Seniors 1. TEC represented by Anirudh Ashok & R. Muralikrishnan 2. CET represented by Cyriac Thomas Mattom & Sharon Grace Philip 3. MACE represented by Shibi Mary George & Martha Bijou
Family Trio 1. KEA represented by Daniel Muruppel, Shilpa Nair & Rohit Shaju 2. NIT represented by Dr. Biji Thomas, Sindhu Vinod & Susan Ann Abraham 3. MACE represented by Saji Jose, Dr. Razeena Shaji & Joice Salu John
The Trishna ever rolling trophy for 2009 was claimed by the team from KEA at the end of a hard fought competition. There was a tie for the second position between CET and TEC.
