Sullia: The annual meeting of the Sullia Taluk Working Journalists' Association was held here earlier this week, under the chairmanship of president Chetanram Irantakaje.

Office-bearers were elected to various posts. Udayavani correspondent Gangadhar Matti was chosen president for the second time. Girish Perumunda was elected secretary and Girish Adpangaya treasurer.

Outgoing president was elected honorary president, while J K Rai and Jayaprakash Kukketti were elected vice presidents. Umesh Manikkar was elected joint secretary.

Gangadhar Kallapally, Shivaprasad Kilangody, Ishwar Varanashi, Krishna Betta and Dhanuraj Rai were elected executive committee members.

Former presidents Harish Bantwal, Durgakumar Nairkere, Chandresh Goradka and Lokesh Perlampady were elected advisers.
