Mangalore: Reshma Harriet Menezes (25), hailing from Loreto in Bantwal and working as a nurse in a hospital in the city for three years, has been reported missing since Sunday, June 10.

She stayed in a hostel at Falnir. When her brother Roshan spoke to her on mobile on Sunday, she had apparently asked him to come to her hostel. But when he enquired with the security staff informed him that she had already gone out with a colleague some time earlier. Since then, her mobile phone has been giving a 'switched off' message.

As she did not return to the hostel or home, a complaint has been filed in the Kadri police station about her having gone missing.

I think the parents only made her to work and did not bother to ask or insist her for marriage. Fed up with the situation she must have eloped with her boy friend. This is not a new case. Many Reshma's done the same thing in the past and it will go on.
