Mangalore: Dr Balamurali (29), a lecturer at the Kasturba Medical College here, died of suspected high diabetes.

On Thursday, June 14, he was to attend a seminar. When he did not arrive, the organizers tried to contact him on his mobile which remained unresponded.

Dr Ravish Tunga and others went to his residence in Kadri, there was no response from inside. Finally, after getting access into the house, they found Dr Balamurali in an unconscious state. He was rushed to the hospital but he is said to have died on the way.

A case has been registered in the Pandeshwar police station.
