Mangalore: Addressing the media in the district BJP office on Saturday June 16 , the district party president K Padmanabha Kottary said that in protest against the Union government's irresponsible financial decisions and wrong political decisions, the Bharatiya Janata Party had begun the Jansangharsh campaign on June 7 and it would go on till June 22.

He added, "The BJP also congratulates CM D V Sadananda Gowda for having made the right decision on government land grabbed by unauthorized persons. The land will now be given to the eligible persons based on their requests. We also thank the state ministers who were responsible for this."

Dear readers,

Mr.Padmanabba kotari would you please let us know the result of India Bandha for recent fuel hike. The RS 2.00 reversal of price is just a eyewash did by the union govt. even international prices are dropped further. Why the BJP.Karnataka govt.is not interested in reducing the fuel taxes in state'?Is your govt.wants this issue to be added in to the next election manifest?

Even since India started getting closer to US, the ground realities started changing. As an immediate consequence, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries who had gone away from Indian friendship due to the cold war alignments, started working with India. This checked Pakistan from its major occupation with Kashmir. In fact when the Saudi king visited India, he declared that India was his second home. When Manmohan Singh visted Saudi Arabia, the Saudi king ensured that the 40 km route from the Airport to the capital was lined with Indian (and Saudi) flags. With the great Saudi and UAE warmth towards India, Pakistan has entirely lost the game. So Kashmir is not waiting to be saved. Definitely not by BJP. Kashmir has already been saved.

I think if BJP really wants to save something, they can start work on trying to save the elderly people and children getting run over by the unmanaged speeding vehicles (mainly buses) in Mangalore.
