Mangalore: Tanishq, India's Largest Jewellery Brand , today celebrated another landmark in their jewellery retail outlet by opening their new showroom on Dr Shivaram Karanth (Balmatta) Road. This being their 138th showroom, Tanishq focuses on having larger area stores, thereby providing customers with a world-class jeweller retail experience.

The Balmatta road showroom was inaugurated by Titan Industries Managing Director Bhaskar Bhat here on Wednesday 20 June. Speaking on the occasion Bhat said, "Tanishq has a pioneer in setting new benchmarks in the jewellery industry. In the years to come, Tanishq plans to reach newer markets. This new showroom embodies Tanishq's commitment towards providing customers a memorable shopping experience with its carefully created jewellery displays, ambiance and customer service."

"Being the tenth store in Karnataka and the first in Mangalore, Tanishq offers good variety and our brand value comes along it. At Tanishq we have philosophy of making the customers our fans. The industry is worth Rs 150,000 crores and Rs 6,000 crores worth is Tanishq" he said.

When asked about the business expansion plans for the fiscal year, he said "We're expanding to 200000 sqft of space in total. There is lot of awareness of the brandname all over India and the distribution is not all over.

The new showroom spreads over an area of 6000 sq ft and offers a wide range of Tanishq jewellery. From grand and opulent wedding jewelling in gold, kundan, polki, and diamonds, to contemporary jewellery from the Mia and Glam Gold collections, the showroom has plenty of choices for every customer in addition to the trust that a TATA Product can offer.

To celebrate the occasion, Tanishq has announced a special inaugural offer where customers will be gifted Free Gold Coins of 250mg each with purchase of every 8 grams of gold jewellery and every Rs 8000 of diamond jewellery. They can also avail upto 20% off on purchase of diamond jewellery above 2 lacs. Customers can avail this offer only at Tanishq Balmatta Road showroom between June 20 and 24, 2012.

Every purchase is supplemented with the Tanishq Certificate of Authenticity that gaurantees the purity of gold and the colour, clarity and caratage of diamonds. The showroom also provides customers free purity checks for gold jewellery through the 'Karatmeter', the only non-destructive means to find the purity of gold.
